Peec AI alternatives (2026): 8 AI visibility tools compared
Peec AI is a well-made daily tracker: $95 to start, every plan tracked daily, unlimited users, and up to thirteen models on Enterprise. The reasons to look elsewhere are specific — each plan includes only three models, a fourth costs $35 to $165 a month, the API is an Enterprise feature, and the numbers come without a sample size. Here are eight tools that answer one of those differently, with where each is better and worse.
Why people look past Peec AI
Peec AI's plans are Starter at $95 a month (50 prompts, one project), Pro at $245 (150 prompts, two projects) and Advanced at $495 (350 prompts, five projects, several countries and Looker Studio), all tracked daily with unlimited users. Each includes three models chosen from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI; Enterprise is priced on request and adds the API and SSO (Peec pricing). Four things send buyers to compare:
- Engines are rationed. Three models per plan, and each one beyond that is $35 a month on Starter, $85 on Pro and $165 on Advanced.
- No API below Enterprise, so getting the data into your own reporting means Looker Studio on Advanced or a sales call.
- The MCP server reads and writes, with roughly a hundred tools (Peec MCP docs), but the pricing page does not say which plans include it.
- Figures are reported without the number of answers behind them, which matters as soon as somebody asks whether a move is real.
None of these is a flaw for every team. If Copilot or Naver is where your buyers are, or you track several countries, Peec covers that from its own plans and most of the list below does not. For a one-to-one comparison with Recomma, see Recomma vs Peec AI.

1. Recomma
This is our product, so it is first and you should weigh that. Recomma captures ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and Google AI Mode from the pages readers see, and asks Perplexity through its own API. Every figure carries the number of answers it was measured over and a 95% interval, each tracked question is priced by the keyword demand behind it, and every closed action is re-measured on fresh answers fourteen days later, against a frozen baseline. Prompts pool across projects rather than being allotted to each one.
- Plans: Starter $30/mo · 50 prompts · daily · 1 project · up to 3 engines; Growth $299/mo · 300 prompts · daily · 3 projects · up to 3 engines; Scale $999/mo · 500 prompts · daily · unlimited projects · every engine.
- Better than Peec AI on: entry price ($30 against $95), prompts in the middle tier (300 at $299 against 150 at $245), error ranges on every number, a measured outcome for each fix, MCP writes that preview first and need a separate write scope.
- Worse than Peec AI on: engine breadth (no Copilot, Claude or Naver), no local GEO below the country or shopping data, a 3-day trial that needs a card, no customer reviews yet.
- Best for: teams that report AI visibility upward and need the numbers to survive a question, and agencies running several brands from one pool of prompts.
2. Promptwatch
Promptwatch is the closest thing to Peec AI on this list. Its first two plans match Peec's on price, prompts and projects — Essential is $95 a month for 50 prompts and one project, Professional $245 for 150 prompts and two — and Business is $579 for 350 prompts and five projects, all tracked daily. The differences are in what comes with the money: four models per plan rather than three, from a list of ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, Llama, DeepSeek and Grok, and an API and MCP server on every plan. There is a seven-day trial on Essential and Professional (Promptwatch pricing). The page does not say which four models each plan includes.
Best for: Peec users who like the plan shape but want a fourth model and an API without moving to Enterprise.
3. Otterly.AI
Otterly.AI is the cheapest way in: Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts, Standard $189 for 100 prompts and Premium $489 for 400, all tracked daily. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot are in the base price; Gemini and AI Mode are $59 a month each on Standard and Claude $109 (Otterly pricing). It posts prompts through each AI search's own website and uses an API only for Claude (how Otterly collects data). The REST API and an MCP server, which since July can write prompts and tags, come from Standard (changelog).
Best for: small teams whose buyers use Perplexity and Copilot and who want daily tracking for the least money. More in Recomma vs Otterly.AI.
4. SE Visible (SE Ranking)
SE Ranking sells AI tracking two ways. SE Visible is the standalone tool: Basic is $99 a month ($79 billed yearly) for 200 prompts and three projects, Core $189 for 450 prompts and Plus $355 for 1,000, with a ten-day trial and no card (SE Visible). It tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Perplexity daily, with Claude listed as coming soon, and captures answers from the interface (AI visibility tracker). Inside the SEO suite, every plan includes AI tracking — Core at $129 with 100 daily prompts across five LLMs, Growth at $279 with 250 (SE Ranking pricing) — and every SE Ranking plan includes MCP and API credits (SE Ranking MCP).
Best for: the most prompts per dollar at the entry tier, and teams already on SE Ranking. More in Recomma vs SE Ranking.
5. LLM Pulse
LLM Pulse is priced in euros, before VAT: Starter is €49 a month for 50 prompts and one project, Growth €99 for 150 and Scale €299 for 450. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini are included, other models start at €8 a month, and tracking is weekly by default with daily as a separate option. MCP is on every plan and the API from Scale; the trial is fourteen days and asks for a payment method (LLM Pulse pricing).
Best for: European teams who want Peec's prompt counts and five engines for half the price or less, and are happy with weekly readings.
6. Rankscale
Rankscale sells credits rather than prompts, and every plan reaches its full list of 17 or more engines with no per-engine upsell. Essentials starts at $17 a month billed yearly for 120 credits; Pro is $99 for 1,200, Pro+ $229 for 3,000 and Growth $385 for 5,500. An answer from ChatGPT, AI Mode, Perplexity or Gemini costs a quarter of a credit, and cadence can be set anywhere from hourly to monthly. The pricing page labels each engine as collected from the interface (GUI) or by API, and the REST API starts on Pro+ (Rankscale pricing); a Claude answer costs three to four credits (changelog). Its MCP server, in beta on every plan, reads and writes behind opt-in permissions (Rankscale MCP).
Best for: budget-conscious SEOs and agencies who want many engines and are comfortable doing credit arithmetic. More in Recomma vs Rankscale.
7. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ has a free Essential tier (300 credits, five models) and a Starter plan at $295 a month for 3,600 credits — one credit, one answer — across eleven models; API access is a paid add-on (AthenaHQ pricing). Prompts run on the weekdays you choose, repeating every one to four weeks, or on set days of the month (docs). Its MCP server reads and writes (AthenaHQ MCP), and an AI Search Value estimate priced from Google keyword data is rolling out (docs). AthenaHQ does not publish how it collects answers.
Best for: mid-market growth teams that want a broad model list at one credit price, and a free tier to try it on. More in Recomma vs AthenaHQ.
8. Scrunch
Scrunch starts at $300 a month ($250 billed yearly) for 350 prompts and three users; Growth is $500 ($417) for 700 prompts. A new prompt is tracked daily for its first fourteen days and every 72 hours after that, with a refresh on demand. The pricing page lists seven engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Meta AI — and the data API is an Enterprise feature; the trial is seven days with no card (Scrunch pricing). Answers come from "a combination of browser automation and official platform APIs" (Scrunch FAQ), and its MCP server reads and writes on every plan (Scrunch MCP).
Best for: larger teams that want Claude and Meta AI in the base plan and have the budget for it. More in Recomma vs Scrunch.
How to choose
- Start from the engines your buyers use, not from the longest list. If you need Copilot or Naver, Peec may already be the right tool; if you need Perplexity, check which plan includes it.
- Price the plan you will actually be on, with the add-ons — a $245 Peec Pro plan with a fourth model is a $330 plan.
- Compare cadence honestly. Daily, weekly, every 72 hours and credit-based schedules give different numbers of answers for the same prompt count.
- Ask how answers are collected. The answer from a model API and the page a reader sees cite different sources; several tools here use the interface, some mix both, and some do not say.
- Ask how many answers each number rests on. A visibility figure without a sample size cannot tell a real move from a re-roll.
- Decide whether you need the data elsewhere. An API on every plan, on Scale or only on Enterprise is a bigger difference than most feature lists.

How this list was made
Every price, allowance and engine list here was read from the vendor's own pricing page, help centre, documentation or changelog on 14 October 2026, and is linked where it is stated; where a vendor does not publish something, the text says so rather than guessing. Review-site ratings are left out because they could not be checked at the source. Tools are listed Recomma first, because this is our page, and the rest by how closely they match Peec AI's plan shape and price.
