Recomma vs Peec AI (2026): plans, engines and method compared
By Joshua
Peec AI and Recomma measure the same thing — how often AI answers name your brand, and beside whom — and differ in where they spend their effort. Peec offers more engines and more markets, with daily tracking on every plan. Recomma prices the market behind the questions, attaches a sample size and an error bar to every figure, and re-measures each fix fourteen days after it ships. Teams that want breadth and a polished daily dashboard tend to fit Peec; teams that need to show which changes moved the number tend to fit Recomma.
At a glance
The table sets the two side by side on the axes a buyer usually asks about first. Peec's figures are from its pricing page in US dollars; the same page shows euros in Europe, at different numbers. Recomma's are from the plan table the product enforces.

Plans and prices
Peec AI sells four plans. Starter is $95 a month ($80 billed yearly) for 50 prompts in one project; Pro is $245 ($205) for 150 prompts in two projects; Advanced is $495 ($420) for 350 prompts in five projects, and adds multiple countries and a Looker Studio integration. Enterprise is priced on request and adds API access and SSO. Every plan tracks daily, includes three models of your choice and has unlimited users. Each model beyond the three costs $35 a month on Starter, $85 on Pro and $165 on Advanced. Peec AI pricing.
Recomma sells three self-serve plans and an Enterprise tier quoted by a person. Starter is $30 a month for 50 prompts, sampled weekly, on one project. Growth is $299 for 300 prompts, sampled daily, across three projects. Scale is $999 for 500 prompts, daily, with no limit on projects or engines. Prompts pool across the workspace rather than being allotted per project, so an agency decides which client gets the coverage. The full table is on the pricing page.
Read the two sets of numbers carefully before comparing them. Recomma's Starter is cheaper than Peec's, and it samples weekly, not daily — that is the main thing the lower price leaves out. From the middle tier up, Recomma gives more prompts for a similar price (300 against 150 at roughly $250–300), and Peec gives more engines without upgrading, since adding a fourth model is an add-on there and a plan change here.
Engines, and how answers are collected
Peec's Starter and Pro comparison table lists ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, of which a plan includes three. Enterprise extends the list to as many as thirteen models, adding Claude, GPT-5 Search, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral, Meta and Perplexity. Most of those added models are marked "API" on the page; Peec does not say in so many words how the others are collected, though the labelling suggests they come from the consumer products.
Recomma samples ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and captures every answer from the interface a reader sees rather than from a model API — because the API version of an answer cites different pages, and sometimes names different brands, from the one a buyer reads. What sampling can and cannot see sets out the trade-off. The cost of that choice is coverage: Copilot is not sampled, Perplexity is not part of the standard pass, and Claude is not sampled at all, since it has no consumer search surface to capture.
What happens after the number
Both products go past a single visibility percentage. Peec reports sentiment, share of voice and position, analyses which sources the answers cite, shows fan-out queries, and adds an ads library, AI shopping at product level, local GEO, prompt volumes and suggestions for prompts and competitors.
Recomma's additions are about whether a number can be trusted and acted on:
- Every figure carries the number of answers behind it and a 95% Wilson interval, and a reading too thin to mean anything is dimmed rather than drawn as a trend. Why the error bar.
- Each tracked question is priced with keyword data — monthly searches, the share of clicks a top result takes, and what advertisers bid — so a gap can be ranked by what it is worth.
- A gap becomes an action. When the action closes, the reading on its prompts is frozen, and fourteen days later the same prompts are asked again on fresh answers. The verdict is kept whether or not anything moved.
- The brand's own site is audited against fifteen markup rules that AI crawlers trip on, with each failing page's markup as it is and as it should be. The checklist lists all fifteen.
- Visits that assistants send to the site are reported beside the answers that sent them.
API, MCP and exports
Peec lists an API, an MCP server, a Data Studio connector, CSV exports, CDN and log integrations and Google Analytics. Its pricing table puts the API on Enterprise and Looker Studio on Advanced; it does not say which plans include MCP. The MCP server itself is read-only and signs in with OAuth (Peec MCP docs).
Recomma's full API access and CSV export come with Scale. Its MCP server reads and writes: an assistant can list the gaps, read the site findings with their before-and-after markup, propose new prompts and close an action. Every write previews first, needs a separate write scope, and new prompts land as suggestions that spend nothing until a person accepts them. Where Peec AI is the better choice
- Engine breadth. Copilot and Naver AI from the first plan, and up to thirteen models on Enterprise. Recomma samples four.
- Daily tracking on every plan, including the cheapest. Recomma's Starter is weekly.
- Markets. Advanced tracks multiple countries; Peec also offers local GEO.
- Commerce and advertising. An ads library and product-level AI shopping, which Recomma does not have.
- Track record. Peec has third-party reviews to read; Recomma is new and has none yet.
- A free trial with no plan choice up front. Recomma's only trial is three days of Growth, with a card.
Where Recomma is the better choice
- Price at the bottom. $30 a month to start, against $95 — weekly rather than daily, with up to three of its four engines.
- Prompts in the middle. 300 prompts on Growth at $299, against 150 on Pro at $245; and they pool across projects.
- Numbers you can defend. A sample size and confidence interval on every figure, so a change that is noise is shown as noise.
- Proof that a fix worked. Actions re-measured fourteen days after they close, against a frozen baseline.
- What the gaps are worth. Prompts priced by keyword demand, so the queue is ordered by value rather than by count.
- An assistant that can act. An MCP server that writes as well as reads, behind a preview and a separate scope.
Choose Peec AI if… choose Recomma if…
Choose Peec AI if you need Copilot, Perplexity, Claude or Naver; you track several countries or local results; you want daily tracking on the smallest plan; or you sell products and want AI shopping and ads data beside visibility.
Choose Recomma if ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and Google AI Mode cover the engines your buyers use; you have to show a client or a board which changes moved the number, with the error bar to back it; you want gaps ordered by what the market behind them is worth; or you work from an AI assistant and want it to fix the site, not only read a report.

How we compared
Peec AI's plans, prices, engines and integrations were read from its public pricing page and documentation on 10 October 2026, in US dollars. Where Peec does not publish something — the trial length, which plans include MCP, how each engine is collected — the table says so rather than guessing. Third-party review scores were left out because they could not be checked at the source. Recomma's figures are drawn from the same plan table its API enforces, so they change on this page when they change in the product.
